Providing therapeutic growth through individual, family, and group therapy

Meet the Therapist

My name is Grace Molloy, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Pennsylvania. I think it is essential for my clients to know that I am a good fit for them, so let me tell you a little about myself.

I began my journey in mental health treatment in 2012 as a college student at Kenyon College, volunteering with the counseling center as a peer counselor. After graduating with a Bachelor's in Comparative Literature, I relocated to Asheville, NC. While in Asheville, I worked in wilderness therapy and in a residential treatment center for adolescent girls for two and a half years. I then began to integrate my passion for mental health work with my values of social justice and inclusion, and pursued my Master's in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Prior to starting my private practice, I worked as a family-based therapist utilizing Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy in Delaware County, PA, for over 3 years. Through this experience, I have learned to be a fierce advocate for my clients, helping them to reconnect with their families and communities. At this time, I have had my private practice for 2 years and have greatly enjoyed working with my clients to meet their goals. In the past year, I have become trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy) to better serve my clients who wish to process past trauma.

I practice from a relational, social-justice-oriented, trauma-informed, systemic lens. I believe that change comes from authentic connection between a client and a therapist, involvement of a supportive network, and a mutual collaboration around treatment. I am an LGBTQ-affirming therapist specializing in working with teens, young adults, and families around depression, suicidality, gender and sexuality, neurodiversity, and trauma; however, I am well-versed in working with a broad array of life experiences.
